“I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it for me!’”
So much to ponder in this lovely haiku. You are so talented.

Sometimes we must rejoice also in the dark night of the soul. I’m finding it a kinf of shortcut to victory, bypassing guilty, anger, pity, fear, and a host of other negatives. My recent diagnosis has me in a place in utter dependence on God. Without his intervention, I will be meeting jesus sooner than I expected.

We absolutely must rejoice at all times in God. It’s when we walk with Him through the guilt, anger, pity and fear and we finally get to joy. We cannot ignore our emotions. We must share them with God, who welcomes all of what we feel. He knows our heart.
I’m grieved at your diagnosis; I’m so glad you have turned to Him instead of away from Him.
Thank you so much for your tender comment.
