Unplugged and unashamedly at peace,
I sit in silence waiting for dawn to crest,
All worries and distress each breath release.
You are my Shepherd; in Your arms I rest.
You lead me to still waters, verdant meadows
To lean upon the heart inside Your breast.
This morning I accept the gifts bestowed
By Your garden of love, mercy and grace
And fix my eyes on glory’s blooms aglow
And as the sun illuminates my face
Your work appears, resplendent with all I view,
Your cultivation clothed in Your embrace.
At rest, I’m thankful for this life anew.
At peace, I snuggle up in warmth of You.
