My thanks are oft in short supply,
Regard for You tends to belie
The deep and constant love I feel.
Your tenderness has such appeal; always nearby.
So thank you for the rain today,
For Spring’s fresh smell and growth’s array
Which fills my senses glistening new.
Your crisp, pure sprouts push into view; Your love’s bouquet.
Lord, thank you for my food and clothes,
Yes, for your Word, which helps me grow
And for this home, for which I prayed.
For your provision dread’s allayed; Love overflows.
Oh, Father, thank you for your grace,
Which never hesitates to place
A profound peace upon my heart
And blesses me with strength to start today’s footrace.
Sweet Jesus, thank you for your course
To bring us back to Father’s source.
You gave us Spirit, His intent,
God With Us, this is what You meant; never alone.
Dear God, I feel you by my side
My heart is warm and full and wide.
You fill my eyes with tears of joy,
Your love and grace I do employ; You are my guide.
So here and now I lift I AM,
My Abba, Shepherd, Holy Lamb,
Because of You, there’s no more dark.
I live in Light, You’ve made Your mark; Your monogram.
