Some say church is the only place
Where I can lift God’s name in praise
Yet every day I feel His grace
And worship Him in many ways.
At rest outside, coffee in hand,
Trees, flowers, birds – His grand displays –
Remind me how His beauty spans;
My tears of joy to Him are raised.
While undertaking mundane tasks
Each gently folded towel betrays
My adoration quite unmasked;
I worship what my heart portrays.
As posting mail or buying food
Standing in line with long delays
I choose devotion’s attitude
A gift of time; my heart obeys.
On morning walk at shore or trail
Sunrise reveals first morning’s rays.
You are the air that I inhale
And fills my lungs throughout the day.
So worship You from start to end
To keep away temptation’s preys
And praise Your grace with thanks intend
‘Til sleep’s approach my lips will pray.
a lovely piece. God is everywhere. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward for more blogs from you 🙂

Absolutely, Jason. And sometimes, His presence leaves me awestruck and wordless, yet I think He feels the praise in my heart.

So very beautiful, Susan! Yes, we can appreciate God’s majesty in just about everything we see! He has given us so much, and we can praise Him for that at any time and in any place. In fact, I believe He wants us to see, appreciate, and offer praise on a daily basis in order to keep our minds focused on the love which He has for us…

“In fact, I believe He wants us to see, appreciate, and offer praise on a daily basis” Thank you for this, Steve. Our focus on Him is vital to accepting His love and His grace, and of course to give it away.

Very well put, Susan. I am working on a post idea developed from one of your ideas on loving those who sin in the sight of God, yet receive a “judgment” from those who claim to be God’s children. It may be in a few days, but watch for it…
You have inspired me with this thought! Thank you, Susan.

Wonderful, Steve. Pebbles dropped, ripples floating out. That is exactly how I receive some of my own ideas. 🙂

Tom, I am surrounded by His beauty every day. How could I not praise Him? Of course I praise Him in church as well, but I think we need to learn to praise and worship God in the every day, and remember He walks with us all the time and be thankful for that.

Amen Susan. It’s hard to say who does and doesn’t praise him. However it is still a wonderful thing s you said for us to be in the presence of God in all we do, see and say. Let am that we are and see praise God it reveals his glory. I say again it is a profound reminder for me to see him in all things. Like you I would remind and encourage others to see this to.
Blessed hope

Beautiful Susan – and so, so true. I have a hard time understanding those who think God is only in the church. Bless you.

He is definitely in church where people gather, yet He is also wherever we call His name. And lest we forget, He also lives inside us through the Holy Spirit. Immanuel.
